After being together for more than 15 years in the music business as a rock band, Desert Heat has spent the last 4 years making a name for themselves in a big way on the Country Music Scene. Desert Heat is now one of “New Country's” hottest and most exciting acts in Canada, and is now looking to take their name, music and high energy live shows to the U.S. as well. Their current singles have been seeing nice numbers on the Music Row Charts in the U.S.

Their independent 2005 debut release " Forever Road" caught the attention of music critics and media almost immediately and spawned a number of radio hits and several award nominations from the Canadian Country Music Association.

Desert Heat is perhaps largely known for their tight vocals and rock-solid song writing, but it is their reputation for explosive live performances that is winning over all kinds of new fans. After years of honing their chops and polishing their showmanship in every conceivable venue type in Canada, they have earned that reputation.

In the past couple of years, Desert Heat has shared the stage with top Country Stars such as Emerson Drive, Road Hammers, Doc Walker, Wilkinsons, George Canyon, Andy Griggs, Little Jimmy Dickens, Sammy Kershaw, and many more.

In 2006 they were a part of and all star cast when they worked with Wayne Warner on the amazing “God Bless the Children” video with artists such as Taylor Swift, Billy Yates, and The Kentucky Headhunters, just to name a few.

Desert Heat’s brand new CD “Tail lights and Love” was just named in the Top 5 of 2007 by Country Music News in Canada. The CD features a formidable selection of songs written by Desert Heat, and co-written by Nashville's top songwriters and produced by the multi-platinum record-smiths Joel Feeney and Jeff Nystrom.

Desert Heat has just been nominated for TOP NEW GROUP in Canada at the 2008 Canadian Country Music Awards.

Desert Heat are currently in studio with Grammy Award Winner ALDO NOVA working on a new CD to be released Spring 2009.
